The Organization Behind Dollar Based Dental
Eagles, Benefits by Design, Inc. is a Tampa-based employee benefits administrator that developed Dollar Based Dental to address a fundamental problem in the employer dental market: traditional fully insured dental plans are built around carrier networks, carrier fee schedules, and carrier-controlled plan designs.
Dollar Based Dental takes a different approach. As a self-funded plan governed by ERISA, it gives employers direct control over plan design and benefit amounts — without the network dependency that limits provider access and restricts employee choice.
Eagles serves as plan sponsor and third-party administrator — preparing ERISA-compliant plan documents and working with employers and brokers from initial proposal through ongoing plan management.
